The Cry of the Heart  †

Israel ~ The Land of Glory!

In this section we will see Caesarea, Caphurnaum where Jesus did the majority of his ministry, and the monastery of Elijah.

Another item of interest is the Roman Theater in Ceasarea.  The acoustics are so good in the Theater, that you can speak in a normal tone of voice, down on the stage, and everyone can hear without using any amplification.

The temple that you see in Capharnaum is the temple that Jesus did most of his ministry in. What you see in the pictures is the remains of the "White Temple", which was built after the time of Jesus.  But if you look at the photos, you will see a dark line of stones on the bottom, and these were the stones that were part of the temple in Jesus' day.  One temple was built on top of the other.

You will also see the remains of Peter's house.  The Catholic Church has built a church over the top of it, but the original house has been preserved.  Peter's house has remained a church since the time of the first century.

The monastery of Elijah overlooks the valley of Har Meggido, or in the English language we know it as Armageddon.  It was an amazing thing to stand on the rooftop of the monastery of Elijah on Mount Carmel, where he called down fire out of heaven, and to look out over that valley where the final battle will be fought.  I wept and prayed, and it was there that God instilled in me a love for His people, and the land of Israel.  All that I could do was pray for them, for their souls and for the nations.  Oh...  Israel your King is coming!

Donations

Would you like to participate in sending people out on the missions field?  If you would like to give financially, and be a blessing to thousands of people, I would like to give you the opportunity to help.  I believe that when we give, it is given back to us, and God multiplies it so that it is more than we can contain.
