The Cry of the Heart  †

The First Step to Recieve Healing

What is the first step on our journey for healing?  What is the first thing that you need to know on any journey?  You need to start out any journey by knowing where you are going.  If you don't have a destination in mind, you are not going anywhere, and you can not begin.  Of course, in this journey of life, the ultimate question, is where will we spend eternity?  That is the most important thing that we will ever know, and we do need to know for sure, beyond any shadow of a doubt that we will go to heaven someday.  The Bible tells us that we can know for sure.  If you do not know beyond any shadow of a doubt that you are going to heaven, and you do not know God in a very real and personal way, you can.

The Bible says that if "we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our hearts that God has raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved.  For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation."  You can find that in Romans 10:9&10 in the Bible.

Do you believe in Jesus?  Good...  Then please pray this prayer with me to make sure that you are going to heaven someday.  If you mean this with all of your heart, God said that heaven will be your eternal destination.

"God in Heaven,
I know that I am a sinner, but I would like to change that.  I ask you to forgive me of all of my sins and make me clean.  I believe that Jesus is your Son, that He came and died on the cross for me, and You raised Him from the dead.  Jesus, right now, I ask you to come into my heart.  Keep me from evil, and make me the person that you would like me to be.  I make you the Lord and Savior of my life.  Thank You Jesus, for saving me.  Amen."

And now that we know what our ultimate destination will be, lets see what we will need for our journey.   As with any good trip, it is essential to start with your road map.  Our road map for our journey will be the Bible.  I believe that the Word of God is alive and powerful and that there is anointing on the Word of God to break every yoke of bondage, to set every captive free, to save and heal and to deliver.

Does the Bible say that it is always the will of God to heal?
The Bible says that Jesus is the same "yesterday, today, and forever."  What He did when He was here on this earth, He is still doing today, and will do throughout eternity.  So if Jesus healed people when He was here on this earth, He is still doing it today, and if He does it for one person, He will do it for you.

One of the hardest things for people to accept is that it is the will of God to heal them.  I believe that it always is the "will" of God, but we play a big part in whether or not His will is accomplished in the earth.

God never changes, and healing is a part of His nature.  He called Himself by the name of "Jehovah Rapha" in the Old Testament.  As you will see in the definitions page,  Rapha means healing.  He called Himself the God who Heals.  If this was one of His attributes and an integral part of His nature back then, it still is today.

Jesus Himself answered the question of whether it is the will of God to heal.  He said in John 5:30 "I am able to do nothing from Myself [independently, of My own accord -- but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders].  Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide.  As the voice comes to Me so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek or consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent Me.

Considering this, that Jesus did nothing on His own, but always did the will of the Father, do you remember the leper who came to Jesus for healing?

"And behold, there came a leper and worshipped him saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.  And Jesus put forth his hand and touched him saying, I will; be thou clean.  And immediately his leprosy was cleansed."  Matthew 8:2&3

The Bible also says that God is not a respecter of persons.  If it is His will to heal that leper, then He will do it for me and for you.  So trust in the Lord.  He loves you with an everlasting love.

Isaiah 40:29-31
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Would you like to participate in sending people out on the missions field?  If you would like to give financially, and be a blessing to thousands of people, I would like to give you the opportunity to help.  I believe that when we give, it is given back to us, and God multiplies it so that it is more than we can contain.
